Roma QLD, Australia Irish McGanns at The Queens Arms Hotel Full time $65,000 per year

The Queens Arms Hotel is located in the main street of Roma, QLD. The 100+ year old hotel has been modernised in the bar areas, approx 8 years ago, but still holds the charm of a classic outback pub.

The hotel offers Public/Sports Bar, Lounge Bar, TAB Area, 15 Machine Gaming Room, 40 seat Dining Room, Beer Garden with Projector/Big Screen.

We are currently seeking applications for a

DUTY MANAGER

This will be a full-time position and will involve predominantly nights & weekends. Approx 40-45 hours/week, Min 30min break with a meal provided

Ideally we are seeking someone with the following:

* 1-2 years experience in a similar role

* Excellent customer service

* Extended knowledge of TAB, Keno & Pokie Machines

* RSA, RSG, Food Handlers essential * TAB Compliance Training Cert * RMLV & Approved Managers Licence would be a bonus or will need to be obtained upon starting

Job Role includes, but not limited to

* Bar & Bistro service - YES you will be required to run meals and clean tables

* Start of Day & End of Night procedures including til reconciliation

* Completion on Daily Taking Sheet

* Pokie Machine clearances

* Staff supervision of up 4 staff members on one shift

SALARY from $65k/year

*** Salary + Super

*** Bonus Incentive for reaching KPI's, paid weekly

*** Meal while on shift + half hour break to eat

*** FREE Accommodation at the hotel for up to 3 months, $150/week if still required

*** FREE WiFi

You will be working with the existing Venue Manager of 7.5 years & Duty Manager

This position is not just a "sit back and supervise" scenario, we need someone who is willing to get in and do any job that needs doing.
