Job Description
Love events? Obsessed with the details? Passionate about hospitality?
We're looking for a detail-oriented, service-driven Catering and Events Executive to join our team and help deliver exceptional meeting, catering, and event experiences across Hub's national network.
From coordinating catering and managing logistics to creating memorable experiences for clients and guests, you'll play a critical role in executing polished, high-impact events in our premium hospitality-led workspaces.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves being the go-to person, and can juggle multiple priorities while keeping the vibe fun and professional, this role is for you.
What your day-to-day will look like (but not limited to):
- Coordinate all catering and event logistics across multiple sites, from initial brief through to final execution.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their meeting/event needs and provide guidance on catering, room setup, and AV requirements.
- Plan and manage all event elements, including menu selections, dietary requirements, delivery timelines, and vendor communications.
- Ensure flawless handover and setup by coordinating with on-site Workspace Experience and Operations teams.
- Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and service excellence.
- Maintain records of orders, feedback, and budgets, and support continuous improvement of our service standards.
- Be the go-to problem solver when event or catering challenges arise—no request too much, no detail too small.
Qualifications
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has 2+ years' experience in event coordination, hospitality, or coworking (catering or AV background a plus).
- Is solutions-focused and thrives under pressure while juggling multiple deadlines.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Has strong attention to detail and pride in delivering seamless experiences.
- Brings a collaborative spirit—working cross-functionally with sales, ops, and vendors.
- Is organised, adaptable, and confident in managing logistics end-to-end.
- Has experience working with CRMs like HubSpot (preferred but not essential).
Additional Information
Why you should join us:
- Bring events to life in a fast-paced, premium environment that values hospitality and detail.
- Be part of a growing, purpose-led team at a certified Great Place to Work, B Corp, and carbon-neutral business.
- Access great perks like a Wellness Fund, paid volunteer leave, and your birthday off.
- Work with passionate teammates who exemplify our values: Hospitality First, Lead with Impact, Elevate Everyday, Make Things Happen.
- Expand your skills and career trajectory with our personalised training and professional development offerings.
