Restaurant Manager – Modern North Indian Dining | Docklands & East Melbourne

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our growing team. You'll work closely with the owner to lead daily operations, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and drive the continued success of our modern North Indian restaurant.

Operating Tuesday to Sunday, we offer a refined dining experience rooted in authentic North Indian flavours, modern presentation, and warm hospitality. Our team takes pride in maintaining high standards across both service and atmosphere.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations
  • Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to uphold service excellence
  • Manage bookings, customer relations, and floor operations
  • Handle stock control, beverage ordering, and supplier coordination
  • Support with menu development, seasonal updates, and event planning
  • Supervise bar operations and ensure quality across cocktails and wine service
  • Ensure compliance with RSA, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements
  • Take responsibility for closing procedures and daily reconciliation

About You

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in restaurant management (fine or casual dining)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Bartending experience is highly regarded
  • Genuine passion for food, beverage, and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Available to work Tuesday–Sunday, including weekends and public holidays
  • A valid RSA certificate is essential
