Our client is a globally recognised leader, with a rich history in the manufacturing and supply of chemical products for the building industry. This is an innovative and sustainable business that offers a comprehensive range of products and solutions, for various applications such as flooring, waterproofing, and structural strengthening.
About the Role
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of the company's Building product range across Sydney. Your role will focus on actively identifying new business opportunities in this sector alongside maintaining the existing customer base. You will also provide demonstrations and technical training to customers across various sectors. This role is based in the Sydney Metro area, with occasional travel to Rural NSW and Interstate.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with existing clients while prospecting and developing new accounts
- Collaborate with the State Sales Manager and product specialists to prepare tailored project proposals and customer solutions
- Demonstrate product applications to customers and continuously update your technical knowledge
- Utilise the CRM system to track sales activities, update customer data, and capture key market intelligence
- Operate within company policies and procedures related to sales, pricing, and expense management
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Materials Science or relative OR Trade Qualification.
- Experience working with concrete and a strong understanding of its properties is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical role within construction, manufacturing or related sectors
- Previous sales experience is preferred, or a demonstrated aptitude for sales and client relationship management.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage your time and priorities effectively
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel Interstate as required
