Role Overview:
As our Sales Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities. You will leverage your deep knowledge of our products and services to provide technical solutions, advice, and support to potential and existing customers. By adopting a consultative sales approach, you will maximize sales opportunities, nurture long-term client relationships, and meet targets alongside our small, collaborative sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Electronic Security, Access Control, and CCTV industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, serving as their trusted advisor and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Conduct technical sales presentations, field trials, and demonstrations to showcase our products and solutions.
  • Provide pre and post-sale advice, prepare quotations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, sharing insights and working collectively to achieve sales targets.
  • Educate clients on our offerings, increasing their knowledge and understanding of our products and services.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in the Electronic Security, Access Control, and CCTV industry is a must.
  • Preferably, a background in B2B consultative sales, demonstrating effective negotiation, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent technical understanding of electronic security systems, access control, CCTV, and associated products.
  • Proven track record of winning new customers and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively within the sales team.
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft computer skills. Training on CRM and accounting software will be provided.
  • A current security license is preferred.
