About the opportunity
As our Key Account Manager, you will be strategic and proactive in finding new opportunities and driving sales within a specific territory, making sure that our customers and partners consistently get the full value of Axis Communications.
Together with our valued customers and partners, you will develop strategic sales plans that are aligned with our common growth and success. As a professional interface between our partners and Axis Communications, you will be a strategic business partner by nurturing strong relationships, thereby building trust and satisfaction in return.
This position is based in Melbourne with responsibility for key accounts across Victoria. The role will have a requirement to travel domestically at times with some international travel as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for a specific region and accounts.
- Be the key point of contact to our valued partners and customers to support their ongoing current and future needs.
- Identify, qualify, and build a pipeline of leads and project opportunities.
- Partner with those in your portfolio to build, revise and support partner plans to maintain key goals and strategies for growth.
- Working collaboratively the Sales team and the marketing team, you will deliver and support targeted campaigns and activities across your territory including participating in trade shows, partner and distributor, and Axis events.
- Build strong rapport and trust with our partners.
- Report on quarterly sales goals.
Qualification and Experience
- Certificate or bachelor's degree in business or related discipline or relevant experience
- Proven experience in developing and driving strategic sales plans for accounts
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex and high profile customers in a sales focused role
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with different personalities
- Proven experience to network and establish relationships
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of the security industry
- Demonstrate good organizational skills, and able to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Enterprise technical selling skills
- Be a team player, flexible and collaborative by nature
- Confident to present and share point of view
- Positive mind-set and can-do attitude
