Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic
Key Account Manager
to drive market expansion for SANY's , forklift truck, and material handlers in the Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane regions. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with rental companies, developing new channels, and managing key accounts within the logistics and construction sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong existing networks in Australia's equipment rental industry and a proven ability to close deals with large clients.
Key Responsibilities
Market Penetration
:Identify and target key rental companies and large end-users (e.g., construction firms, logistics hubs) in the assigned regions.
- Develop strategies to position SANY products as preferred solutions for equipment rental fleets.
2 Channel Management
:
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local rental companies to expand SANY's market share.
Train and support channel partners to ensure effective product promotion and customer service.
Key Account Management
:Manage and grow relationships with high-value clients in logistics and construction industries.
- Negotiate long-term contracts and secure bulk orders through rental partners.
4 Sales Strategy Execution
:
- Achieve sales targets by leveraging market insights and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with SANY's technical and marketing teams to tailor solutions for client needs.
5 Market Intelligence
:
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in Australia.
- Provide feedback to HQ to refine product offerings and pricing strategies.
Requirements
- Education
: Diploma or above degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. - Experience
: - Minimum 5 years in B2B sales, preferably in construction machinery, material handling, or heavy equipment.
- Proven track record in channel management and key account development.
- Existing network with Australian rental companies and large construction/logistics clients is
mandatory
. - Skills
: - Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with data-driven decision-making ability.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Travel
: Willingness to travel frequently across assigned regions.
