The Role:
Reporting to the Sales Director, the National Account Manager role is responsible for continuing the strong sales growth & achieving profit targets, via continual ranging growth, execution of sales strategies, promotional execution, selling in of opportunities, and managing national activation plans.
This is a great opportunity to join our high performing team, in a rapidly growing business, supporting our largest and most important customer, for both Barambah Organics and five:am organic brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve KPIs: Net Sales, Gross Profit, incremental distribution & ranging growth,
- Building impactful relationships with customers, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with retail partners to develop win-win sales strategies and specific account initiatives to become retailers' preferred business partner
- Identification of incremental sales opportunities, building of business cases, selling stories to support these, and management of go to market.
- Trade investment management, including review and analysis to assess the ROI & provide recommendations, managing pricing, trading terms, and discounts to optimise performance
- Reporting & analysis for ongoing sales performance, NPD launches etc.
- Work collaboratively with the supply chain team & VRPs to manage forecast and supply.
About You:
This pivotal role is best suited to an entrepreneurial and ambitious team player who can build great relationships easily. Your previous years' experience have ideally been spent in an FMCG organisation – as a NAE or KAM, looking to step up and test yourself at the next level, or you are already at a NAM level, and you are looking to prove yourself in a high growth, fast paced business. - Highly driven, autonomous, and be a self starter. Willingness to get hands dirty – we are a business with big ambitions.
- Confidence dealing with various stakeholders and excels at building relationships, at multiple levels internally and with customers.
- Strong selling skills – using insights to create a story with the ability to engage an audience
- Sound commercial and business acumen skills to deliver commercial recommendations and decisions
- +5 years' practical experience in FMCG sales, ideally working with Woolworths, as a NAM, KAM or NAE.
- Experience using PartnerHub ideal
- Agile & ability to juggle multiple priorities, make recommendations quickly.
- Analytical with advanced capability in Excel, PowerPoint and Sales software
- Experience with Business Central Microsoft Dynamics is ideal, as well as PowerBI
- Qualifications in Business/Commerce, or equivalent relevant experience.
