Role Overview:

This is a rare national role managing one of Australia's most iconic retail partners – Bunnings. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the National Account Manager will take ownership of the Bunnings account, driving category growth and building long-term commercial success across a range of home and garden products.

This is a fast-paced and hands-on position, ideal for someone who understands the Bunnings landscape and has successfully managed the account before.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the Bunnings relationship across key categories including garden décor, home décor and fertiliser.
  • Lead range reviews, category planning and promotional activity, with a focus on delivering sustainable growth.
  • Partner closely with buyers to identify new opportunities and strengthen category performance.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain and product teams to ensure seamless delivery and execution.
  • Provide commercial insights, market analysis and recommendations to support ongoing business strategy.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Proven account management experience, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods or hardware.
  • Previous experience managing or supporting the Bunnings account is required.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage trade spend effectively.
  • A relationship-led, collaborative approach with strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and adaptable in a dynamic retail environment.
