About the role

At KTI, we are seeking talented and experienced Local HR & MC Drivers to join our team in Athol Park, SA. As a Local HR or MC Driver, you will play a crucial part in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operating HR or MC class vehicles to deliver goods to customers within a defined local area
  2. Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and safety standards
  3. Performing pre-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any issues
  4. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, routes, and driving hours
  5. Providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships with clients
  6. Assisting with loading and unloading goods as required

What we're looking for

  1. A current HR or MC driver's licence with a clean driving record
  2. Demonstrated experience in a similar local delivery driver role, ideally within the road transport industry
  3. Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of road safety practices
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  6. Physically fit to be able to handle to the daily workload including manual tasks
