With a growing portfolio of luxury lodges across Australia and beyond, we're on the hunt for a people-loving Talent Acquisition Officer to join our Sydney team.

About the Role

This is a full-time role reporting to the Chief People Officer and working closely with our Lodge General Managers and HR team. You'll be at the heart of our growth story – connecting with candidates, building talent pipelines, and ensuring a smooth and inspiring recruitment journey from first hello to first day.

Every day will bring something new: writing engaging job ads, chatting to passionate hospitality professionals, representing Baillie Lodges at career fairs, and helping international team members relocate. You'll be the face of our brand in the candidate market – a true ambassador of our values and culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple lodges and roles
  • Craft compelling job ads and source talent across a range of channels
  • Build relationships with hospitality schools, universities and industry networks
  • Represent Baillie Lodges at recruitment fairs, expos and networking events
  • Promote our employer brand and highlight our growth and career opportunities
  • Manage interviews, reference checks, offers and onboarding
  • Support global mobility, including visas and relocations
  • Contribute to HR projects

About You

  • A natural communicator who loves talking to people and building relationships
  • Experience in recruitment or HR (hospitality background highly regarded)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Australian HR legislation, Fair Work and Award obligations
  • Proactive, positive and detail-oriented, with a professional and approachable manner
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office
