ABOUT THE ROLE

You will play a fundamental part in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, assisting our account managers, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing and processing sales.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Direct qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure where appropriate
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Follow up on order delivery
  • Scheduled account manager customer visits
  • General sales processing and administration

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Minimum 2 years of proven inside sales experience
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Experience working in a high-volume, target-driven sales environment
  • Strong MS Office suite skills
  • Experience work with a CRM
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage
  • PV industry experience is an advantage
  • Right to work in Australia is a must have
