Sales Support & Customer Service Officer – Melbourne (Full-Time)

Sealane Food Group, a family-owned Australian food distributor, is seeking a Sales CRM super-user with strong Excel skills (Opmetrix experience a bonus) to join our Retail division, supporting independent grocery stores and supermarkets.

About the Role

You'll be the backbone of our retail sales operation, providing essential support to on-the-road sales reps, internal teams, and valued customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining CRM data with accuracy, generating sales reports, and ensuring data integrity
  • Supporting sales reps with account setup, promotions, and campaigns
  • Providing outstanding customer service via phone and email
  • Assisting with freight and delivery administration
  • Managing team inboxes and liaising across warehouse, finance, procurement, and courier teams

Approximate Daily/Weekly Task Split
  • 30% – Sales rep support (account setup, promotions, queries)
  • 30% – Opmetrix super-user & Excel administration
  • 20% – Customer service via phone and email
  • 20% – Team inbox management and internal communications

Who We're Looking For
  • Sales CRM super-user experience (Opmetrix knowledge a strong advantage)
  • Strong Excel skills (Intermediate–Advanced)
  • Experience in sales administration or customer service, ideally in retail or independent grocery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Positive, team-focused attitude with a can-do approach
