About the Role
We are looking for a results-focused, pro-active Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting dedicated Sales professionals to expand our customer base, and drive business growth within this vital industry.
Responsibilities
- To analyse data effectively so the sales team can focus on opportunities to grow the business and support our customers
- To provide accurate reports that deliver key business insights
- To provide leadership to the Sales Support team
- Ensure work performed is in accordance with the expectations of the Business Unit Manager
- Respond promptly and politely to telephone calls and emails from customers, suppliers and the sales team on matters relating to product availability, pricing, delivery, order status and product information.
- Provide administrative and analytical support to the ParagonCare Sales Team.
- Develop reports, quotes and priced spreadsheets for customers, suppliers and the ParagonCare Sales Team.
- Have extensive experience using BI reporting tools
- Inform the Business Segment Team Members of any factors in the marketplace, which may affect the company's sales and marketing efforts.
- Update and maintain current customer records, analysing same for buying habits and value per account and feeding this information back to Sales teams.
- Assist sales team with data gathering related to tender submissions and other customer sales activities.
- Liaise and create excellent working relationships with all internal and external colleagues, customers and clients.
- Prompt and efficient follow through on business requests
- Maintain a clear yearly calendar on Business Review reporting requirements for key customers and suppliers, ensuring that ParagonCare engage externally with a proactive value add approach.
- Adhere to ParagonCare policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Certificate or equivalent required
- Commercial/Sales/Marketing qualifications desirable
Required Skills
- High level of computer literacy particularly MS Excel and Word.
- Intermediate - High level experience in Power BI reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Experience working with JDE systems
Preferred Skills
- Strong product knowledge of Aged Care, Medical and Pharmacy lines
