Ekera Dental is a national dental network, comprising 56 dental practices across Australia. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant on a 6-month contract to cover maternity leave. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accurate recording of invoice detail, GL coding and cost centre allocation
  • Prepare weekly payment runs
  • Support month-end close activities
  • Perform monthly statement reconciliations for major suppliers
  • Maintaining the accounts payable ledger
  • Liaising with suppliers and Practice Managers for resolving payment queries
  • Assisting in the bank reconciliation process
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support the finance team with external audit and other projects

About You:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and be accurate in your work
  • Ability to work towards meeting company timetables and deliver on strict deadlines
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • A proactive, reliable, can-do attitude
  • Good planning skills and time management abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in MYOB Acumatica preferred
  • Experience with credit card expense management systems and AP automation applications would be an advantage
