Carlin Lawyers is a busy southern suburbs firm located within close proximity to the Christies Beach Magistrates Court. We specialise in Family Law, Criminal Law, Wills and Estates as well as providing general legal advice.

We are seeking a competent Administration Assistant to support our Office Manager and Firm Principal on a part-time basis.  The days we require are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm with the flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave.  School hours can be negotiated for the right candidate. Salary will be based on level of experience.

The Role

This is a part-time position with an immediate start available.

You will primarily work with and provide administration support to our Office Manager.

You will be required to undertake a variety of tasks including and not limited to:

  • File management and e-filing
  • Diary management
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Preparation of documents and correspondence
  • Dictation and word processing
  • General day to day administrative support
  • MYOB data entry - experience not essential

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of one (1) year administration experience essential
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Confident and proactive
