About the Role
The Senior Project Manager manages complex multi-stream, cross-divisional projects over a number of years in line with the Agency's Project Management Framework to achieve agreed business outcomes. 

The role is full time, temporary until 30 June 2027. There are Six (6) vacancies.

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in large complex project delivery 
  • Project Management Certification (Prince 2 / PMP) 
  • Demonstrated significant project management experience, including:
    • Managing complex multi stream projects within a large programme with extensive project interdependencies to mitigate and manage such complexities
    • Delivering large ICT and business projects including anticipating and responding dynamically to changes
    • Determine the framework of policies, regulations, functions, processes, procedures and responsibilities by which the project will be established, managed and controlled.

  1. Describe a time when you have had conflicting deadlines. How did you negotiate with stakeholders and still deliver a project within expectations (Maximum 300 words)
  2. Describe your major achievement(s) in successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously of varying sizes with defined budgets within previous roles in government or other medium or large organisations (Maximum 300 words)
