Position

We are seeking a
Senior Project Manager (Wastewater Treatment)
to lead the design and construction of a large-scale greenfield wastewater treatment project located on the Mid-North Coast of NSW.

As the Senior Project Manager you will manage the full project lifecycle, through design, construction and commissioning stages. This position can be based remotely for the initial 6-8 months, however we will require the successful candidate to be located on-site throughout delivery (18+ months).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver project on time, within budget, and in line with contract requirements
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the project team
  • Manage claims, variations, RFIs, EOIs, subcontracts, and other contract matters
  • Oversee procurement of consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Administer contracts, including assessing claims, variations, EOTs, and RFIs
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and team-focused culture
  • Lead, support, and guide the project team
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, site managers, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution

About You

  • Proven experience in the construction of major D&C water or wastewater treatment plants in Australia
  • Excellent leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead a site-based team
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Experience managing subcontractors and delivering multi-disciplinary projects
