About the Role
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone with a background in project coordination, account support, or junior account management who is eager to grow into a more strategic and client-facing position.
As an Account Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering standout activations across premiums, merchandise, and gifting—primarily within Alcohol and FMCG sectors. You'll work closely with our client, a leader in their industry, and their agency partners, managing projects from concept through to delivery. This is a hands-on role that blends project management, client service, and supplier coordination.
You'll be supported by a collaborative team and have the opportunity to build your expertise in premium merchandise, strategic sourcing, and stakeholder engagement.
This role is based in Australia, with a hybrid working model split between our Melbourne office (1-2 days onsite per week) and remote work.
What you'll do
Project & Client Management:
- Manage end-to-end promotional merchandise projects—from brief to delivery—ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, creative agencies, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and alignment at every stage.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on track and aligned with client expectations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service, proactively resolving issues and maintaining strong client relationships.
Strategic & Commercial Support:
- Support the development of client strategies that drive sales and brand impact.
- Assist in preparing client presentations and proposals that showcase innovation and value.
- Contribute to identifying new product opportunities and ways to improve existing offerings.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform client recommendations and internal planning.
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen by accurately managing client budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered within scope while maintaining profitability and value.

Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate with sourcing teams to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality production.
- Help manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all project milestones, approvals, and changes to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to the development of streamlined workflows and best practices.
What you'll bring
- Experience in account coordination, project management, or junior account management—ideally with FMCG brands—experience with promotional merchandise will be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, grow, and challenge the status quo.
- Familiarity with sourcing, production timelines, and vendor management is a plus.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
