Our competitive edge is in-house manufacturing of curtains and sheers, allowing us to deliver tailored, high-quality soft furnishings with faster than offshore alternatives. We have built long-term partnerships with leading hotel groups nationwide and are now growing our presence in Victoria.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven, self-starting Business Development Manager to take full ownership of the VIC territory, focusing on Melbourne metro and surrounding regions. Applicants must reside in Victoria to be considered.
Important to note this not a solely working from home role. You will be expected to combine face-to-face meetings, on site clients visits and on-the-road customer engagement.
This role is perfect for a dynamic and motivated person who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships, and closing deals. With uncapped monthly commissions your earnings will directly reflect your effort and results.
What You Will Be Doing
- Visit hotel, healthcare and accommodation clients face-to-face across VIC
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Build strong client relationships for long-term repeat business
- Leverage our Australian-made curtain and sheer solutions to win projects
- Work closely with hotel management, procurement, and operations teams
- Present tailored, multi-category product solutions
- Prepare persuasive proposals, quotes and tender submissions
- Manage your pipeline, track activity and consistently close deals
- Collaborate with operations for smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
- Periodic travel to regional VIC and NSW
What You Will Bring
- Experience in hospitality, appliances, soft furnishings or B2B sales is a MUST
- Proven success in territory sales, business development and account growth
- Understanding of hotel procurement and tender processes
- Strong understanding of the hotel procurement and tendering process
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within Victoria
