Your New Role

We're looking for a Senior Advisor, Learning & Development to join our Organisational Development team and lead the charge in designing and delivering learning experiences that empower our people and drive real business outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Organisational Development and working in a small team, this role will support Development Victoria's ambition to improve the way we work and enhance our employee experience.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Craft and implement an integrated learning strategy aligned with our workforce needs and strategic priorities.
  • Partner with leaders to uncover development needs across leadership, technical, transformation, and compliance domains.
  • Design and deliver engaging learning solutions including a blend of digital content, in-person workshops and development experiences in the flow of work.
  • Manage end-to-end programs, including planning, vendor engagement, logistics, and evaluation.
  • Apply contemporary adult learning principles to ensure learning sticks and drives performance.
  • Leverage data and feedback to continuously improve our learning offerings.
  • Support broader OD initiatives including talent development, leadership capability, culture, and change.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in L&D, HR, psychology, education, or organisational development (or equivalent experience).
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
  • Proven experience designing and delivering impactful learning programs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms and digital content creation (e.g., Articulate, Chameleon Creator).
  • Excellent facilitation skills — both in-person and virtual.
  • A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and making learning meaningful.
