We're on the lookout for an experienced and passionate HR Coordinator to join our dynamic, tight knit team of 7. We are looking for someone who loves being on the ground, building genuine relationships, and delivering exceptional HR support across a dynamic group of clients.
In this role, you'll be part of a shared service model, where each client proudly wears a Place cap, and you'll be their trusted partner, supporting their employees by extension. We're looking for someone with 5 to 7 years' experience who thrives in a fast paced, people centric environment and takes pride in delivering high quality, thoughtful outcomes.
Because of our unique model, you'll need to be driven, proactive and motivated for excellence. Your role will be as diverse and varied as you can imagine, offering the opportunity to showcase your generalist expertise and make a genuine impact each day. If you see HR in full colour, not just black and white, and love being at the heart of people and culture, then this is your place.
This is a full-time opportunity based at our beautiful Head Office on James Street, New Farm, available for immediate commencement (or we can work with your timeline).
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage and execute recruitment campaigns end-to-end, aligned with hiring manager needs.
- Take job briefs, write and post ads, and coordinate interviews, feedback, offers, and documentation.
- Welcome new team members and run engaging orientation sessions.
- Create onboarding plans, execute startup steps, and check in with new starters.
- Manage exits with empathy, support terminations and exit interviews, and ensure smooth goodbyes.
- Provide ER/IR support including award interpretation, letter drafting, performance planning, and guiding conversations.
- Support WHS compliance, legislative obligations, and development planning.
- Lead and deliver people projects, programs, and legislative updates.
- Maintain and uplift HR documents, processes, reporting, and reward schemes.
- Manage certifications, compliance records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll use platforms like
Employment Hero, SharePoint, MS Office, and Zendesk
to get things done, and you'll learn even more along the way.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related discipline.
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a HR Coordinator/Generalist.
- Extensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as employment laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in the full end to end operations of the employee lifecycle is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
- Be part of a motivated and driven team who genuinely love to have fun along the way
- Ongoing training & social events
- Subsidised gym membership with TotalFusion.
