We are seeking a HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture Team, based at either Brisbane (our Rocklea site) or Toowoomba.  As a key member of the Team, you will be the first point of contact for HR generalist tasks, provide customer service and contribute to a positive employee experience during the onboarding process for new employees.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business / Human Resources or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and personal organisational skills
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of National Employment Standards (NES) and modern awards
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Ability to thrive in a process driven environment
  • Strong computer literacy

How you'll make a difference

  • Prepare and distribute HR related correspondence relating to key employment activities
  • Coordinate onboarding new employees and trigger probation reminders to managers
  • Update and maintain employee records and bring a strong focus to governance of employment documents
  • Support the administration of in-house delivered training programs and the annual performance review cycle
  • Support employee initiatives such as employee benefits and recognition programs, culture-building activities and events
  • Perform general HR administration tasks
