Residential Attitudes has an excellent opportunity for a draftsperson with two storey experience to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

Duties include:

  • To work with administration team on clients' projects in accordance with company's vision and values, customer service and pre-construction lead time expectations.
  • To produce preliminary drawings, planning drawings, working drawings for contract documents and prestart drawings accurately and without assumption.
  • To ensure drawings are compliant to the NCC, R-Codes, shire policies and developers covenants for the purpose of shire submission.
  • To carry out minor amendments to working drawings in accordance with the variation orders raised or raise Drafting clarification as a result of design feasibility and shire requirements.
  • To liaise with engineers, energy assessor and surveyors to ensure information received is timely and correct.
  • To check working drawings and final plans ensuring drawings are accurately shown on plans in accordance to written documentation provided.

Experience required:

  • Relevant experience in a residential house construction drawing office.

  • To be honest, trustworthy, and show a positive attitude towards their work.
  • Can do team attitude
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to solve problems, overcome barriers and find solutions.
