As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented and experienced Draftsperson/Designer to join our dynamic team and help bring our clients' visions to life.

The Role

You will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed design sketches for residential projects. Working closely with our design, sales and estimating teams, you'll play a key role in shaping homes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality residential designs and construction drawings using ArchiCAD

  • Interpret client briefs and transform them into practical and compliant design solutions

  • Ensure all documentation meets relevant codes, regulations, and internal standards

  • Collaborate with sales consultants throughout the design process

  • Revise drawings based on feedback from internal teams and clients

  • Maintain project timelines and deliverables

  • Reporting directly to design and drafting manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience drafting/designing residential homes

  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD software

  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, and council requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans

  • High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • A proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple projects

About You

  • Previous experience in a residential drafting and/or design

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Proficient with ArchiCAD software and Microsoft Office Suite
