Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Commercial Estimating.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
  • Creating and submitting tenders.
  • Understanding of general building terminology, building regulations, building codes of commercial demolition and Fit-out process.
  • Ability to interpret, calculate and review architectural plans.
  • Ability to build and maintain quality relationships through careful and articulate communication.
  • Understanding the role and importance of cost management.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage workload to achieve deadlines.
  • Willing to take responsibility and grow within your role.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Projects between $30k - $5 Million. Commercial, mainly non-structural.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Correspondence with clients, trades and suppliers for pricing.
  • Discussions with clients regarding pricing and scope.
  • Project budgeting.
  • Periodic review & analysis of project performance.
  • Contract administration.
