About the role

At Multiworks, we believe that great people are the cornerstone of a great business and know that our success depends on attracting, retaining, and developing the best talent in the industry. As we continue to expand, we are on the hunt for an experienced Estimator to join our Estimating team.

Key responsibilities

  • Quantification and costing of construction work.
  • Quantity take-off and preparing bills of quantities.
  • Prepare estimates, quantities, prices, costing for projects.
  • Interface with project managers and engineers to best manage risks and opportunities, as required.
  • Understand and interpret detailed engineering drawings. Translate drawings for purposes of tendering, procurement, resourcing, project scheduling and risk identification.
  • Analyse materials, products, or qualitative or quantitative work outputs for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Review tender documentation and information.
  • Interpret specification and standards and assess their impact on project costs.
  • Successfully support the team with other pre contracts and business development activities.
  • Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery.

  • You have experience within the construction industry in particular civil.
  • You are self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality.
  • You are reliable, motivated, and determined.
  • You have the relevant formal qualifications.
