Job Description

We are seeking a Fleet Training Officer to join our Fleet department. This is a full-time, office-based permanent position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced team environment.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the sub-contractors are comprehensively trained during their induction and throughout their engagement so they have the skills required to perform their roles proficiently, and without risk to the health and safety of themselves and others.

  • Using the Company's training material to facilitate training to new and existing sub-contractors in WH&S, fatigue management, load restraint, manual handling and company policies.

  • Ensure proactive measures are taken with respect to training existing drivers on an ongoing basis to ensure service quality and compliance with relevant legislation.

  • Staying up to date in critical areas such as WH&S, load restraint, manual handling and fatigue management. It is expected that you attend the necessary training and refresher courses to keep your certifications current.
