The successful individual will oversee multiple key areas, including compliance monitoring, telematics data analysis, customer service, and administrative and operational support. By ensuring that our activities align with regulatory requirements, you will contribute to the ongoing improvement of business processes and help maintain Followmont Transport's reputation for integrity, safety, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Compliance Officer, you will:
- Compliance Monitoring: Review driver work diary pages, in-cab monitoring footage, and operational reports to identify and address discrepancies or non-compliance issues.
- Calibration & Maintenance: Support with PBS calibrations, calibrate truck and trailer scales, and liaise with technicians for repairs.
- Data Analysis: Interpret telematics data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve operations.
- Training & Development: Support in delivering training programs on NHVR, CoR, HVNL, and other compliance standards.
- Auditing & Documentation: Conduct driver audits, maintain accurate records, and manage permits and documentation registers.
- IVMS Oversight: Monitor and maintain the In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS), manage user access, and assist with system-related projects.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide administrative and operational support, facilitate information sharing, and respond to stakeholder inquiries promptly.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential Skills:
- Understanding of NHVR and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to adapt to IT/IVMS systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organisational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for safety and compliance.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Completion of fatigue management courses or willingness to obtain.
- Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain.
