Princess Cruises is excited to announce: We are hiring a Sales Coordinator to join our Sales Team. This full-time permanent position will be based in Chatswood, Sydney, reporting directly to the Sales Operations Manager. In this role, you will provide end-to-end administrative support across our sales functions, supporting trade partners, event planning, and escalated customer service issues. You will be a key contact for agents and internal stakeholders, managing sales tools, systems, and reporting while contributing to sales growth and event success.

Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Groups Program Support: Assist trade partners, travel agents, and passengers with group bookings, ensuring smooth event execution and contract management
  • Event & Trade Support: Support state managers with expos, ship visits, and major events, including occasional travel and weekend work (time in lieu provided)
  • Sales & Customer Service: Manage the Sales Support inbox, phone inquiries, and escalated customer issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Marketing & Promotional Support: Assist with local co-op marketing, brochure distribution, and promotional campaign coordination
  • Sales Systems & Reporting: Maintain internal processes and documentation for Salesforce, Polar Online, and other sales tools
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with account managers, event planners, and cruise operations to ensure seamless onboard experiences

About You:

You are a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted role. With exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, you can confidently manage multiple priorities, support stakeholders, and provide outstanding customer service. Your strong analytical mindset allows you to interpret data, identify trends, and contribute to strategic decision-making, while your positive, can-do attitude ensures you tackle challenges with enthusiasm and resilience. A natural team player, you work well both independently and collaboratively, always willing to go the extra mile to drive efficiency and success. Your ability to balance routine administrative tasks with dynamic sales and event support makes you an asset to any team.

To be successful, you will have:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a sales or sales-focused customer service role within the travel industry (cruise experience preferred)
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience handling escalated customer service issues and problem-solving independently
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to travel and work outside business hours (evenings and weekends) for planned events.
  • Experience with POLAR is a major advantage

Desirable:

  • Experience with event planning or coordination in the travel industry
  • Understanding of sales processes and reporting tools (Salesforce, Polar Online)
  • Previous experience supporting multiple teams or working in a matrix organisation
