About the role
Baldivis North Medical is a busy, modern general practice where doctors, nurses, and admin staff work together to provide high-quality care to our community. We pride ourselves on being professional, approachable, and supportive, and we're looking for the right person to join our team on a casual basis. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing the front-of-house operations, ensuring patients receive a seamless and positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
What you'll be doing
- Provide a warm and welcoming reception to all patients, ensuring they feel valued and supported
- Efficiently manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling and cancellations
- Handle patient enquiries and direct them to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
- Assist with various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a cohesive and patient-centric approach
What we're looking for
- Previous medical reception or administration experience (preferred, but not essential).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- A friendly, team-focused attitude with attention to detail.
- Experience with Best Practice software (advantageous, but training provided).
