About the role

Baldivis North Medical is a busy, modern general practice where doctors, nurses, and admin staff work together to provide high-quality care to our community. We pride ourselves on being professional, approachable, and supportive, and we're looking for the right person to join our team on a casual basis. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing the front-of-house operations, ensuring patients receive a seamless and positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide a warm and welcoming reception to all patients, ensuring they feel valued and supported
  • Efficiently manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling and cancellations
  • Handle patient enquiries and direct them to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
  • Assist with various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a cohesive and patient-centric approach

What we're looking for

  • Previous medical reception or administration experience (preferred, but not essential).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • A friendly, team-focused attitude with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Best Practice software (advantageous, but training provided).
