Pay Rate: $24+ an hour (Depending on Experience)

At Highland Medical, we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services with a patient-first approach. Our team values professionalism, compassion, and efficiency in creating a welcoming environment for our patients. We are currently seeking a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our patients.

Our team currently includes:

  • 11 General Practitioners
  • 3 Dedicated Nurses
  • An Exercise Physiologist
  • A Dietitian
  • 2 Psychologists

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with a warm and professional demeanour
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information
  • Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Ensure the reception area is clean and organised
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical practice or similar setting preferred but not essential
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
