We're looking for a Banking Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to step up, grow their career, and make a real difference in people's lives.

As a Banking Consultant, you will flex across banking transactions, payments and cards in service of our Members.

In a Typical Day, You'll Get To

  • Reconcile daily accounts.
  • Process daily transaction files and manage exceptions, including flagging potential fraud and suspicious transactions and payment dishonours.
  • Monitor transaction behaviours and trends and report any suspicious activity.
  • Review and resolve mistaken payments.
  • Review daily term deposit reports to ensure deposits meet compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot card ordering exceptions or processing issues with the bot.
  • Review and action alerts and RSA across cards, payments and VBV by either contacting the Member to gather more information or marking as fraud.
  • Coordinate card reporting and activities.
  • Coordinate the release of estate funds to legal bodies, executors and/or beneficiaries.
  • Instruct solicitors to prepare and generate home loans documents.
  • Coordinate regularly post-settlement loan reporting to ensure compliance.
  • Review eligibility to switch loan products and action accordingly.
  • Review and consolidate requests to merge loans.
  • Calculate cost for fixed rate break.

About You

  • 6-18 months in a similar role following banking processes.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to gather information and problem-solve.
  • Intermediate analytical and mathematical skills.
