So, what's the role?
As a Remediation Consultant, you will support the Bank's Financial Crime team to ensure the Bank protects our Members and meets our AML/CTF compliance obligations.
In a Typical Day, You'll Get To
- Review and categorise PEP, Sanctions and Transaction system alerts in line with AUSTRAC reporting requirements and definitions of high risk customers
- Assist in the creation of reporting on PEP, Sanctions and Transaction monitoring remediation activities
- Perform investigations and assess potential risks from each investigation
- Support the Financial Crime team in the management of ongoing investigations, including escalations from the front line
- Understand and adhere to the Bank's Financial Crimes processes and procedures
- Support business critical initiatives
- Understanding of what defines high risk customers and the AUSTRAC reporting requirements.
About You
This is an entry level role, so we are looking for the right attitude and approach. You have high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work and meet agreed delivery objectives. You will also have the ability to work independently and apply sound judgement.
