An exciting opportunity currently exists for an accounts | financial analyst to join the Moores Business Services team on a full time permanent basis.

Additionally, our lawyers don’t time record and we don’t bill clients for time. We price for value and the people at Moores are dedicated to providing quality service and advice to both internal and external clients.
**About the role**
Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with all accounting functions in the firm including but not limited to:
- Management of the trust account and controlled monies including assisting the auditors in the annual trust audit
- Coordination of outsourced payroll, management of payroll queries and reconciling monthly payroll
- Processing of office and trust receipts
- Processing office and trust payments
- Entering disbursements and creditor invoices
- Monthly billing
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Month-end and annual reporting
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Management reporting
- Ad hoc finance projects
There is ample scope for growth in the role with a view to take complete ownership of the accounting function.
**About you**
The person we are looking for will have been exposed to a wide range of accounting functions, with demonstrated experience in trust accounting a must.
You will have 5+ years accounting experience; will have completed or be working toward a formal qualification in Accounting and have expertise in a range of software packages including Excel at an intermediate to advanced level. Must be a team player.
Ideally you will have prior experience with Affinity or a similar practice management system in a professional services environment.
Prior experience in the legal industry will be highly regarded.
Your communication skills and eye for detail coupled with your ability to organise and time manage will ensure success.
