About the role

As a Microsoft Privacy Specialist, you will support RACQ's privacy management program through Microsoft Purview implementation and administration. You'll ensure organisational compliance with privacy regulations (APP, GDPR, CCPA) while protecting member data and maintaining trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive privacy-by-design principles across business operations, enabling secure data handling practices that support business objectives while minimising privacy risks.
• Serve as the primary expert for Microsoft capabilities, translating privacy requirements into actionable technology solutions that enhance member experiences and organisational resilience.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Purview privacy risk assessments, subject rights management, and consent management workflows.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for process improvements that reduce duplication and manual effort.
• Maintain communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of updates, changes, and best practices.

About you

• Deep understanding of Microsoft Purview architecture, configuration, and integration capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of privacy regulations, data classification, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and documentation skills.
