Job Description
Markfi Gates requires an Office Manager to assist us with our operations.
The position offers office working hours with a 37 hour work week. Work hours are:
- Monday to Friday - 8.00am to 5.00pm with 1 weekday off (flexible)
- Saturday - 9.00am to 12.00pm
Salary is $33 per hour ($/h) with a review on the 1 January 2026.
First 3 months is a casual probation period. Then moving to a part-time permanent position.
The role requires a high degree of multi tasking over across different business sections.
Duties include:
- Filing, answering phone, taking and passing messages
- Invoicing customers, entering bills and bank statements
- Assisting customers including lifting gates and fittings
- Maintaining and organizing the office
- Stock take of factory and office products
- Co-ordinate production schedule with production team on factory floor
- Cleaning, Sweeping and putting away deliveries
- Other general duties as and when required
Skills required
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Prior experience with MYOB is preferable. (If not, we will teach you on site)
- Ability to perform under pressure with multiple tasks on hand
- Willing to learn and fit
- Prior experience with customer retail is preferable
