Are you a results-driven Project Manager with a proven track record of sucessfully delivering complex projects?

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Cth) (CDPP) is seeking an experienced Project Manager who is driven by success and is known for their ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders. This role is responsible for the planning and delivery of projects that support the strategic objectives of the CDPP.

You will be a member of the Project Management Office (PMO) within the Governance, Planning and Communication Branch, but in parallel, works closely with key stakeholders—including business owners, technical teams, and service users—to support the successful delivery of projects.

This role requires leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage competing priorities to deliver outcomes. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Project Manager will guide project teams and apply governance and risk management capabilities.

In this role, you will/may involve:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects in alignment with the CDPPs project management framework and standards;?
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, plans, risk registers, and reports;
  • Deliver project activities and coordinate resources to achieve objectives and benefits;?
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders, including executives, end users, and external vendors through engagement, influencing and negotiation;?
  • Provide timely, strategic advice and reporting to senior leaders in relation to project direction, risks, issues, governance, and resource management;?
  • Develop team capability and foster a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture;?
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management capability in the PMO and across the broader CDPP; and?
  • Undertake project-related administrative tasks and actives.
