Job Title: Project Manager - Development 

Location: SYDNEY

  • Work across exciting Renewable Energy projects including Wind, Solar and Battery 
  • Unique mix of development and project management responsibility
  • Focused on renewable energy and decarbonisation: Supporting the delivery/development of grid connected projects

Enemix has partnered with Australia's leading renewable energy developer/owner who have continued to go from strength to strength since their inception into the Australian market. The organisation are now expanding their project management & development team to further their growth in this thriving sector. Our client are seeking an individual passionate about the renewable sector, who is looking to apply their skills into the most exciting projects across the APAC region. 

The Role

As a Project Manager focused on delivery and development across Australia you will interact closely with the Project Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Construction and Senior Management teams to progress projects forward and add to the portfolio of reknown projects. The ideal person for this role will bring across a wealth of experience in project development, stakeholder engagement and project pre-feasability knowledge. 

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with and coordinating large teams to bring projects to financial close and into the construction phase
  • Negotiating contracts for renewable energy projects with multiple stakeholders nation wide
  • Negotiating connection agreements and required service agreements with relevant parties
  • Managing and working closely with expert consultants, reviewing their reports and overseeing technical project requirements 
  • Managing civil/electrical/mechanical engineers and consultants in collaboration with wider team to ensure project engineering scopes
  • Manage renewable energy project development consents (and all other permits required to proceed)
  • Manage project handover from development to construction team upon achievement of financial close

Requirements:

  • Strong and proven communication skills with project team, senior management and external stakeholders as required
  • An individual who is team driven and has the ability to work autonomously also
  • Have a proven and strong understanding of renewable energy commercial aspects
  • 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project development and/or project engineering 
  • Degree-educated in a related field
