This role is the glue that brings all the magic together - you will not only work directly with the store Head Coaches but will coordinate with the Community Marketing Managers and HQ departments to bring culture and community together in-store.

The day to day

This role covers 7 core pillars of retail, blending strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You'll build a performance-driven team, grow strong community ties, and deliver exceptional in-store experiences - all while driving results across multiple locations.

  1. Create a community

Collaborate with the Community Marketing Manager to create fun, impactful quarterly plans that fuel community growth and brand love.

Guide stores to bring these plans to life through events, sweat sessions, in-store activations, gifting, and athlete programs.

Ensure each store has a localised approach to community that aligns with brand strategy.

  1. Develop a team of leaders

Coach and mentor store leaders to think like entrepreneurs and take ownership of their business.

Build a solid talent pipeline—identifying high-potential team members, guiding development through training, and driving progression through quarterly performance reviews.

Ensure the right people are in the right roles to grow with the business.

  1. Operational excellence

Oversee all daily operations—ensuring stores are clean, product is merchandised properly, and the full assortment is available on the floor.

Manage and monitor budgets, team rosters, and employee costs to optimise productivity and traffic flow.

Own inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and the execution of weekly Visual Merchandising plans.

Ensure Head Coaches follow opening/closing procedures and resolve cash discrepancies swiftly.

Keep retail calendars and trading hours aligned across your region.

  1. Product obsessed

Lead from the front in product knowledge—know every detail of our core and seasonal ranges.

Ensure the team completes fit sessions on all key products to deliver authentic, education-based selling.

Own the full product lifecycle in-store—from receiving and unpacking to floor execution and community engagement.

Ensure VM storytelling reflects key brand messages, outfitting opportunities, and current campaigns.

  1. Financial smarts

Lead the region with weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, identifying wins and growth opportunities.

Manage large-scale budgets and hit revenue targets with a clear, strategic lens.

Analyse P&Ls regularly to identify trends, risks, and action steps for improvement.

Coach teams on KPI management, using data to drive smarter decisions.

Optimise labour efficiency while maintaining a high level of guest service.

  1. New store development

Own the successful launch of new stores—from build and team recruitment to training and go-live.

Ensure all new teams are fully trained and community-ready before doors open.

Execute a robust pre-opening strategy to seed the market 3 months in advance with events and partnerships.

  1. Collaboration and teamwork

Foster a culture of humility, unity, and shared success—where no one is above the team.

Act as the link between HQ and store teams, driving communication and alignment across the business.

Who you are

A humble, hungry, and emotionally intelligent leader who inspires and empowers others.

A fast, informed decision-maker who thrives in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.

Resilient under pressure and always solutions-focused, even in ambiguity.

Deeply knowledgeable in retail operations, strategy, and financial management.

An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who leads by example.

Regionally savvy with a strong understanding of the Australian market.

To set you apart

5+ years' experience in multi-store retail management with a proven record of success.

Experience developing and leading high-performing teams and fostering strong store culture.
