Step into a pivotal leadership role with Doughty Group, a trusted name in plant hire, heavy haulage, and crushing operations across the Greater Brisbane region. We're looking for a results-driven General Manager ready to take ownership of multi-division performance, spearhead growth strategies, and shape the future of a rapidly expanding business.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead operations, financial performance, and commercial outcomes across all divisions
  • Develop and execute growth strategies and fleet plans
  • Drive operational excellence, compliance, and safety standards
  • Build strong client relationships and lead business development initiatives
  • Mentor and develop a high performing, engaged team
  • Collaborate with Director, CFO, and HR/WH&S Manager to achieve business objectives

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of executive leadership experience in plant hire, heavy haulage, or construction industries
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management systems
  • Proven record in business growth, P&L management, and team leadership
  • Knowledge of fleet management, compliance, and heavy haulage operations
  • Hands-on, results-driven, and able to step in operationally when required
