Parcare Support Service is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers and Registered Nurses to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalised care and support.
We are also seeking individuals with mental health support, nursing experience, or related field expertise to expand the range of specialised care we provide to our participants.
About the Role
As part of our team, you will work closely with clients and their families to provide tailored support that reflects their individual needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and shopping.
- Assisting clients with community access and participation in social and recreational activities.
- Supporting clients with employment or educational goals.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of client support plans and activities.
- For Registered Nurses: Delivering clinical care, medication management, health monitoring, and collaborating with other health professionals to ensure quality outcomes.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be passionate about helping others.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Have experience or interest in mental health, nursing, or disability-related fields (preferred).
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- For Support Workers: Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
- For Registered Nurses: Current AHPRA Registration.
- A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- NDIS Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Blue Card – Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Completion of the NDIS Workers Introduction Module.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
