Overview
The transformation you will experience.
The Client Partner oversees a portfolio of businesses within the Spark Foundry client roster, they should demonstrate influence and inspire their team to deliver a cohesive, proactive approach to client service which helps our clients grow. The Client Partner is ultimately accountable for the agencies work & output within their portfolio. It is expected that they will participate in, embrace and influence training forums for their team and where applicable the common good of the agency.

The Client Partner is also accountable for developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with all clients and should own the Marketing Director level client relationship, or in some instances, at the CMO level. The Client Partner should also ensure that incremental opportunities for Spark / Publicis services are realised when relevant, that their portfolio is operating in a commercially viable manner and that overall team profitability is monitored. Client Partners will also be an important part of the agency New Business team.

Your Scope Will Include

  • Work with the Client Directors to oversee resourcing in line with the ebb and flow of client work.
  • Work with department heads to align qualified resource and ensure that the client is appropriately serviced across all aspects of their engagement with Spark.
  • Works without direct guidance to meet client and agency objectives delivering digital strategies for our key clients and major digital campaigns
  • Develops and implements ways of working with senior clients where necessary, to ensure an effective and efficient operating rhythm and be visible across key accounts.
  • Delivers thought influence on all accounts, developing with the team, best in class strategies to deliver on clients objectives.
  • Focused on building strong professional relationships with senior clients
  • Strives to bring industry innovating thinking, including working with industry partners for first in market initiatives.
  • Identifies new opportunities to leverage Spark Foundry's broader teams and capabilities to resolve clients obstacles and deepen our partnership.
  • Has a thorough comprehension of clients' business and clients' internal pressures in order to guide the Spark team to adapt their service accordingly.
  • Identifies all relevant advertising constraints a client may face due to the nature of the category they work within e.g. restrictions on Alcohol advertising, Gaming or Health Care Professional (HCP) advertising.
  • Develop the reliance and respect of their clients, through a consistent demonstration of experience and expertise, and the ability to provide solutions for the challenges faced by Marketing Teams working in today's complex media landscape.
  • Continually looks for opportunities and strives to sell the value of Spark extended services (e.g CX and Analytics) and the broader Publicis offering where applicable.
  • Manages 30 day plans off the back of annual client review / NPS scores
  • Managing revenue forecasting and delivery.
  • Work with the Head of Client Management on a plan to grow the client portfolio in order to assist the agencies growth, and assist the developments needs of the team.
  • Comprehends contractual obligations and any KPI's that are linked to campaign performance.
  • Conduct weekly WIP meetings with the team, the top-line summary of which is to be shared with the Head of Client Management in weekly WIP meeting.
  • Ensures an inclusive and collaborative approach to the integration of Strategy, Analytics, Activations and CX inputs to the work.
  • Influence, inspire and motivate their team to work collectively on the client's vision and objectives.
  • Delegate and provide appropriate guidance/mentoring to enable team members to perform their roles effectively - this includes ensuring appropriate processes are created to foster a high performance team.
  • Spearhead new business projects as required.
  • Leverage prior experience to enhance agency process.
  • Proactively identify and action opportunities to enhance the efficient operation of the agency.

What type of person will be successful in this role:

  • 11-14 years' experience
  • Preferably a degree or higher education qualifications
  • Well-versed candidate across the following Office platforms: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Possess market and industry knowledge - historical and current.
  • Possess strong financial management experience and business acumen.
  • Passionate about the media and advertising industry, possessing a broad knowledge of macro-economic influences, structural trends and current marketing science concepts.
  • Fearless and engaging, presentation and communication experience, able to guide and influence key stakeholders.
  • A strong innovator that is inspiring, collaborative and enjoys mentoring, motivating and developing their team.
  • Be focused on ROI for clients and agency.
  • Strong strategic aptitude in creative problem solving
  • Strong organisational experience with the aptitude to juggle multiple priorities
