What's the role?

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for the travel industry and a knack for cultivating lasting client relationships? We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Client Partner to join our team, focusing on driving sales growth and fostering enduring partnerships within the vibrant travel sector.

The Role

The Client Partner plays a pivotal role in strategising, planning, and executing sales strategies tailored to specific major accounts. This position is responsible for relationship cultivation, opportunity identification, and comprehensive account management. You will design custom solutions tailored to meet each customer's unique needs, requiring a blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and solution design expertise to effectively meet diverse client needs while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategise the establishment and maintenance of major account relationships, ensuring personal sales targets are met.

  • Drive revenue generation through Print & Digital channels by identifying market opportunities, developing innovative sales strategies, and fostering strong client relationships to maximise revenue growth.

  • Foster enduring client relationships, lead client meetings and presentations, effectively communicate our value proposition, handle objections, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  • Collaborate with sales management to devise sales strategies & solutions for national/major accounts, ensuring proposals align with client objectives and showcase our unique benefits.

  • Monitor competitive activities within each account, developing and communicating appropriate response strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Track and analyse sales metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), generate regular reports on sales performance, and utilise data-driven insights to optimise strategies.

Who are you?

  • Expertise in consultative selling techniques and solution-oriented sales approaches, including needs assessments, customised solution development, and persuasive sales presentations.

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in managing large and complex client accounts, encompassing relationship building, contract negotiation, and account growth strategies.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue targets, identifying market opportunities, and developing innovative sales strategies.

  • Deep understanding of the travel industry, market trends, and the competitive landscape.

  • Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive account plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

  • Experience in designing custom solutions tailored to meet client needs, understanding client requirements, identifying pain points, and proposing effective solutions.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with experience in preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
