We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Manager Email and Direct Marketing. This role will report to the Executive Manager Digital Marketing.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Manager Email and Direct Marketing, you will lead and execute the development and delivery of enterprise-wide email and direct mail marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, retention and operational efficiency. You will define, implement and continuously improve lifecycle marketing programs tailored to key audience segments, ensuring every communication is purposeful data driven, and aligned with business objectives.
In this role, you will oversee the planning, creation and execution of email and direct mail campaigns, newsletters and automated flows. You will collaborate across teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions, ensuring marketing activity supports cross-functional KPIs and meets compliance obligations.
Critical to success is a test-and-learn mindset, ensuring journeys are optimised and every interaction delivers impact. You will champion direct communication best practices and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
This role will also contribute to martech strategy development, stakeholder engagement, process and governance frameworks across the marketing team.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in lifecycle or 1:1 marketing, gained in either creative, media agency or marketing "client-side" environments. You are confident developing and evolving lifecycle communications strategies, with a deep understanding of how to turn business needs into actionable marketing solutions.
You are analytical and creative, with a proven ability to track performance, manage complex projects and deliver results in risk-aware settings. Your experience with CMS and CRM platforms such as Adobe and Salesforce, along with analytics tools like GA4 or Adobe Omniture, will be key to your success.
You will have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders. You will also be able to juggle and prioritise task to ensure you can focus on activities which drive the business outcome.
