nimbl is looking for a talented and established Account Manager for an award winning Brand Activation specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to grow in autonomy by leading the agency's shopper marketing clients and deliver some iconic consumer brand campaigns

Title: Account Manager
Location: Melbourne / WFH
Salary: $80K - $90K
What is the purpose of this role?
This Account Manager role sits at the heart of our Client Service team, specialising in shopper marketing and sales promotions across FMCG and alcohol brands. You will manage day-to-day client relationships, oversee campaigns from strategy through to execution, and ensure delivery to time, target, and budget.
We're looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a shopper marketing and sales promotions agency role, with strong digital production know-how. Y
ou'll be confident in managing multi channel campaigns, from digital promotions to in-store activations, with events and experiential marketing experience a plus.
Responsibilities
Client Account Management
- Manage client projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, target, and budget.
- Be a trusted partner to FMCG and alcohol brand clients, advising on how shopper marketing and promotions drive their commercial objectives.
- Oversee project documentation (budgets, timing plans, status reports, contact reports, briefing docs).
- Confidently discuss shopper marketing's role in the wider marketing mix, including integration with experiential, digital, and trade marketing channels.
- Present work to clients with clarity, energy, and curiosity – running meetings, writing proposals, and sharing results. Campaign & Creative Management
- Translate client objectives into sharp briefs for creative and digital production teams.
- Lead the delivery of digital promotions (competitions, instant wins, loyalty campaigns, coupon mechanics) ensuring compliance and flawless execution.
- Support experiential activations, pop-ups, and sampling campaigns that connect shoppers with brands in engaging ways.
- Ensure campaigns are measurable, reporting ROI and providing "even better if" recommendations. Commercial & Financial Management
- Set and manage budgets for small-to-mid scale campaigns, ensuring profitability and strong GP.
- Obtain purchase orders, track costs weekly, and ensure accurate financial governance.
- Identify efficiencies and smarter ways of working that add commercial value to clients and agency.
Client Growth & Development
- Build strong relationships with clients, proactively spotting opportunities to add value.
- Support senior team in developing growth strategies and proposals for existing accounts.
- Stay curious about client businesses, shopper trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic recommendations.
People & Culture
- Champion the agency culture of curiosity, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively across internal teams and agency partners – embodying our "one team ethos."
- Contribute to agency life, you'll help nurture our culture as much as you deliver for clients.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in shopper marketing and sales promotions agency-side. A Strong knowledge of digital promotions (mechanics, compliance, platforms, production).
Experience with FMCG and/or alcohol brands preferred. A natural communicator with confident presentation skills. Organised, proactive, solution-focused and thrives in fast-paced environments.
