Description

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth in the technology sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.

Profile

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the technology industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer data and sales processes.
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends and identify business opportunities.
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.

And bonus points for:

* Formal qualifications in Business, IT, or a related field.

* Strong knowledge of the satellite communications market.

* Knowledge of the Mining, Oil and Gas Industries.
