The Role:

As a Business Development Manager at Bladon WA, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and expansion. This full-time position is based in Balcatta WA, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across Western Australia and Eastern Australian State regions.

The Challenge:

  1. Proactively prospecting and generating new sales leads through a variety of channels, including networking, cold-calling, and digital marketing;
  2. Engaging with potential clients to understand their needs and requirements, and proposing tailored solutions that align with Bladon WA's offerings;
  3. Negotiating and closing sales deals, ensuring that all contractual and commercial terms are met;
  4. Complete all call cycles on schedule, recording activities in the CRM;
  5. Maintaining an extensive pipeline of opportunities and providing regular updates to the sales and marketing leadership team;
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support;
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with companies across all sectors both at a local and also regional level in WA and Eastern Australian States to secure new and ongoing sales; and
  8. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business prospects.

Your Profile:

  1. Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, preferably within the mining / oil & gas resources, health, finance or education industry;
  2. Previous experience within the promotional product, corporate uniform, safety PPE or MRO industry is a bonus;
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients;
  4. Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer needs and craft tailored solutions;
  5. Strong negotiation and closing capabilities to secure new business deals;
  6. Be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, determination, and a passion for exceeding sales targets;
  7. Familiarity with digital marketing and lead generation techniques; and
  8. Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
