We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow our Western Australian market. Based in Perth, you'll join a small, highly collaborative local team with the backing of a national business that's ambitious, agile and full of energy.
The role
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role where you'll combine commercial strategy with genuine connection.
You'll partner with electrical wholesalers to build product confidence and branch momentum, support contractors with technical and project guidance, and play your part in influencing specification on major lighting projects by working alongside architects, engineers and project managers.
Your insight into the WA lighting market — and your ability to build trust through knowledge — will help position Haneco as the go-to brand for performance, reliability and service.
What you'll be doing
- Growing and supporting key accounts within the electrical wholesale channel
- Building relationships with influential contractors across WA
- Promoting Haneco's LED solutions through training, demonstrations and technical support
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored lighting solutions and project designs
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets with a solutions-first mindset
- Reporting activities and opportunities via Salesforce CRM
What you'll bring
- Background in lighting, electrical or technical sales
- Existing relationships with WA wholesalers and contractors
- A track record of achieving sales growth and customer satisfaction
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Commercial acumen and solution-selling experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Electrical trade, lighting design or related qualifications (a plus)
- Willingness to travel across WA
