About the Role
We're seeking a
driven and consultative Sales Executive
to help us grow our client base across Australia. You'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and providing tailored service solutions that align with their business needs.

What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively identify and qualify new business leads through outreach, research, and networking
- Understand client pain points and recommend service solutions aligned to their needs
- Deliver persuasive presentations and customised proposals to decision-makers
- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and close
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to broader business development goals
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare regular pipeline reports and forecasts
- Represent Purplequay at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of
B2B sales experience
, ideally within
accounting, professional services, outsourcing, or technology - Strong understanding of business operations and client challenges in areas like tax, finance, or back-office support
- Proven track record of achieving (or exceeding) sales targets in a consultative environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development
- Ability to work independently in a
remote or hybrid setting - Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (preferred)
